B4 Brands Donates Hand Sanitizer to Tornado Relief Effort and Other Worthy Causes

Lisbon, Iowa – B4 Brands announced today that it has donated thousands of bottles of hand sanitizer to the tornado relief effort in the Southeastern United States as well as to other worthy causes.

Providing these donations is the least we can do for those who are desperately struggling and for those who are working so hard to improve the lives of others. Donations of Avant Original Instant Hand Sanitizer were made to Tennessee Emergency Management and the Gifts In Kind organization to assist with disaster relief related to the recent tornados that killed over 300 people in Southeastern United States. Interrupted and contaminated water supplies combined with manual labor in warm and filthy conditions create many disease and infection challenges. Hand hygiene plays a critical role in keeping those involved in the relief effort healthy.

Hand sanitizer donations were also made to three organizations as a part of B4 Brands’ recent Facebook contest. Burbank High School won the contest while Cancer Hope Foundation and ISSA Trust Foundation received donations as a result of their participation. Cancer Hope Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of adults affected by cancer by hosting an annual, cost-free weekend retreat for adults with cancer and up to five family members and/or friends. ISSA Trust Foundation, through their affiliation with a medical team from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, provides health care to children living near Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
